Busan city announced that it will hold a Korea-Italy design seminar and business consultation sessions to strengthen cooperation between Korea and Italy and to seek investment measures for companies.

The seminar and sessions will be held today in Busan with around 100 attendees from design companies and universities.

At the event hosted by Busan, Ceipiemonte and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea, five design companies of the ZAAF Design, Experientia, Andrea Vecera, Alessandra Scarfo and Archilandstudio from Torino Province in the Piedmont region of Italy will be invited.

Participants will have a chance to look at Korea and Italy’s design and share success cases of design development at the seminar.

Busan manufacturing companies and relevant agencies will have one-to-one sessions with Italian companies to seek ways to invest and enter the Italian market.

A Busan official noted that the event will serve as an opportunity to enhance design capability of both countries and lay the foundation for consistent design exchanges and cooperation as a strategic partner.
