The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Busan CCI) sent representatives to Central Asia Monday to seek measures to help Busan companies entering the Central Asian market.
About 20 companies accompanied the President of Busan CCI on this visit.
The group will visit Tashkent and Samarkand in Uzbekistan and Alamty, Kazakhstan to discuss economic cooperation with local businesses and listen to successful localization cases from Korean companies in the region.
Also they will visit the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to hold consultation sessions with local companies to exchange views on Uzebekistan market penetration of Busan companies and request active cooperation.
In Kazakhstan, representatives will visit the city hall of Almaty to look over measures to enhance cooperation and sign a memorandum of understanding with an association of Korean small- and medium-sized companies for practical cooperation.
Busan CCI plans to support its small- and medium-sized companies penetrating the global market by sending representatives overseas who can support companies on the working level and building a network with international economic organizations, agencies and entrepreneurs.
