Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) announced that it will hold the 26th conference of Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation (ACSIC) November in Busan.

Established in 1988, ACSIC has 16 agencies from 11 Asian countries including Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

KOTEV plans to transfer its knowhow to other agencies as a specialized agency providing supports to technology-related small- and medium-sized companies (SME).

The conference will also have a discussion session to exchange views on ACSIC’s role in providing practical support measures for SEMS’s overseas expansion and technological exchanges.

It is also expected to serve an opportunity to promote Busan, which is an emerging mecca in the international financial market, and contribute to development of Busan as a financial capital.

The 26th conference will be held from November 11 for five days and is expected to draw about 150 participants.

A KOTEC official noted that the conference will promote Korea’s advanced financial systems to other Asian countries to lay the foundation for Korean SMEs to enter overseas market though expansion and technology transfer.
