The event will invite a large number of foreign buyers through overseas branches of Busan in the United States, Japan, China and Vietnam.
The number of invited foreign buyers is close to 50 from eight countries of United States, Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, Panama, Japan, China and Vietnam.
It is the largest among trade consultation sessions with foreign buyers hosted by Busan.
Buyers will hold business consultations about 100 Busan companies in the shipbuilding, machinery and automobile part industries.
Some of the examples are TOTO LTD, which recorded annual sales more than KRW 5 trillion last year, and Hitachi Metals Admet, a global machinery, energy, electronic and parts company.
Oil and gas companies from Brazil and Chinese shipbuilding buyers will also be participating in trade consultations.
A BEPA official noted that overseas trade offices actively supported marketing activities in advance to the event, adding that the agency will continuously provide support for regional companies to penetrate new markets and find buyers.
Companies that wish to participate can contact BEPA at its website (www.bepa.kr) or call center (1577-0062) by October 4.
