German University Campus in Busan to Recruit Students in 2014

(BUSAN = Yonhap News) Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg Busan (FAU Busan), the first international university to open its branch in Korea, announced that it will recruit new students for the spring semester of 2014.

The FAU Busan will recruit a total of 25 postgraduate students in the following majors: bioprocess engineering, chemical reaction engineering, environmental process engineering, mechanical process engineering, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.

The applications will be accepted until 15 January 2014 via the university’s website (www.fau-busan.ac.kr) or the e-mail (studies@busan.fau.de).

The campus was opened in 2011 and offers the same academic curriculum of the school in Germany. Lecturers from Germany visit the FAU Busan on a regular basis to offer lectures and conduct experiments with students.

Stduents in FAU Busan will spend one semester in the school in Germany to carry out researches and experiments under the supervision of the teaching staffs and experts.

The FAU Busan concluded cooperation agreements with Siemens Korea and cultivated relationships with various global companies including Audi, Scheffler.
