Busan Invites Japanese and Chinese Buyers for Trade Conference

[BUSAN=Yonhap News] Busan Economic Promotion Agency (BEPA) said on May 27 that it will hold a trade conference named ‘2014 Trade Conference for Buyers’ in cooperation with Japanese and Chinese trade offices on May 28 at Lotte Hotel Busan.

Nineteen Japanese buyers and eight Chinese buyers will participate in the conference and have an one-on-one consulting with 70 small and medium sized local manufacturers in Busan.

The buyers invited by BEPA mostly deal with machinery parts, household goods, auto parts and shipbuilding materials which is Busan’s key industry.

The Osaka trade office of Busan Metropolitan City invites 19 Japanese enterprises including KURIMOTO Iron Works, a company posting annual sales of more than KRW 1.5 trillion last year, and Hanwa Engineering which is famous for superior construction materials.

The Shanghai trade of the city invites eight companies including Jiangsu Eastern Heavy Industry with annual sales of KRW 390 billion and Shanghai Yuyang Marine Equipment.
