(BUSAN=Yonhap News) Busan City and the Busan Tourism Organization will hold a medical tourism conference in Russia from November 5 to 8.

About 13 people in the medical field will visit six medical institutions in Russia and speak about cancer, diseases, infertility, childbirth, thyroid disease and spine and joint diseases. They will also have discussions with Russian medical staff and introduce the advanced medical technology of Busan.

The group will also present on medical tourism and hold business meetings with medical tourism agencies in Russia.

Busan has been holding medical tourism conferences since 2010 in Vladivostok and nearby cities to attract patients in Russian Far East.
