According to Yonhap News,

(BEIJING=Yonhap News) A container ship will be launched in the East Sea shipping route linking South Korea, Russia and China, a Chinese state media reported Friday, in a move expected to boost trade among the three nations.

The 6,000-ton container ship is set to make its maiden voyage on Sunday in the shipping lane that links among South Korea's southern port city of Busan, Russia's far eastern port of Zalubinau and the northeastern Chinese city of Hunchun, the Yanbian Daily newspaper reported, citing Chinese authorities.

The cargo will be delivered to Zalubinau from Hunchun via a railway and the ship will sail to Busan from the Russian port, according to the report.

"With the ship being commissioned, it will play an important role to vitalize trade in the Northeast Asia," the report said.
