The Pacific Rim Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO-Pacific Rim) 2015 will be held in BEXCO from August 24 for 5 days.

The conference, organized to commemorate the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture and United Nations, will be participated by 1,000 photoelectronic specialists in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the statistics on the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) industry in 2014 by the Korea Tourism Organization, the economic ripple effect in accordance with the international conferences held in Busan recorded KRW 2.47 trillion.
