According to Yonhap News,

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) Busan City and the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) will sign a business agreement on August 19 to realize the good development of the city’s public project.

According to the agreement, the city will provide materials and information on the public development project to KAMCO.

KAMCO will analyze the validity of the project, suggest the project structure, attract private capital via domestic and foreign networks and carry out PR activities for the project.

The city expects the agreement will help the city achieve capital and technology of the private sector, facilitate the economy-driven social overhead capital projects, expand the regional development infrastructure, revitalize the regional economy and create the virtuous economic structure of job creation.

KAMCO, which has been relocated to Busan, will cooperate with the regional society and contribute to the regional economic development by capitalizing on its expertise in the asset management.
