(BUSAN=NEWSIS) Busan City announced September 10 that it will hold an investor relations (IR) session to hidden giants in the Seoul Metropolitan Area on September 11 at Lotte Hotel Seoul. The IR session is to introduce the investment environment, incentives and competitiveness of Busan to companies that are in the metropolitan area but originally from Busan.

“Busan, which is the leading city that represents the Southeast of Korea, is the global logistics hub and a specialized city of films, exhibition and conventions, tourism, finance and IT. We will emphasize the city as a great place to do business to the hidden giants,” said a city official.

Prior to the event, the city will sign an investment memorandum of understanding with Kisan Electronics to attract investment in the relocation and expansion of the company.

“We will provide full support to the relocated companies and we will continue attracting IT companies in the Seoul Metropolitan Area to create jobs and revitalize our regional economy,” said a city official.
