(BUSAN=NEWSIS) Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center announced September 16 that it will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lotte Data Communications Company and Samwon F.A. Co., Ltd. to facilitate the ecosystem of the internet of things (IoT) in the transportation sector.

They will find excellent services and technology of IoT in the transportation sector and cooperate to develop competitive products through conducting training programs.

The center and the companies will cooperate in the public transportation service and intelligent transportation system and develop the technology for cooperative intelligent transportation systems (C-ITS) service.

Samwon F.A. Co., Ltd., a bus information management system and device developer, and Lotte Data Communications Company, an IoT expert, will be able to develop the technology and ideas for C-ITS to establish a bridgehead for entering the C-ITS project that will begin in 2017.
