Busan-Ulsan SMBA Helps SMEs to Enter Chinese Online Market

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) With the Korea-China free trade agreement (FTA) went into effect on December 20, the Busan-Ulsan Office of the Small & Medium Business Administration (SMBA) will proactively support regional small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) to enter the Chinese market.

The Busan-Ulsan Office of the SMBA and the Busan Bio Business Association will jointly hold a business event on December 22 at BEXCO to seek strategies to target the Chinese online market.

The SMBA organized the business event to support promising regional business-to-consumer specialized companies with the expectation that the online shopping market will rapidly grow due to the effectuation of the Korea-China FTA.

The consulting meeting will explain the status of Chinese e-commerce sector and provide consultations to regional SMEs that produce products that are likely to gain popularity via the Chinese online shopping stores.
