(BUSAN=Yonhap News) The 'Busan-London CEO Business Forum', an event prepared to forge new cooperation and partnership in the financial and economy sector, was held on July 18 at the Busan International Finance Center.

The event was attended by the Busan Mayor Suh Byung-soo, The Busan Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Cho Sung-Je, and a group of entrepreneurs in Busan. From Lodon, Jeffrey Evans, Lord Mayor of the City of London, came with delegates from the city government and business community.

Under the theme of 'Busan's future indusry development', representatives from two cities shared measures to improve mutual cooperation after the Brexit and discussed Busan's investment environment and incentives to U.K. companies expanding their businesses to Busan.

After the forum, British fintech company Xntree and Busan's BNK Financial Group singed a MOU for business cooperation. British Airways, Korail, the Busan Tourism Organization also agreed to cooperate to introduce a transport service which can connect flight with KTX.
