According to Yonhap News,
(BUSAN=Yonhap News) A Japanese parts and materials company will invest about USD 5 million in Busan.
Busan Metropolitan City announced November 23 that it will conclude a memorandum of understanding with the company in Fukuoka, Japan on November 25, 2016.
The Japanese firm decided to invest in Busan after attending a presentation meeting on Busan's investment environment held in Fukuoka last May.
Busan has also visited the company several times since last year to have discussions on investment, and finally attracted investment of USD 5 million.
Another Japanese semiconductor equipment maker A recently submitted a letter of intent (LOI) to invest more than USD 10 million in Busan.
Prior to the signing with the Japanese parts and materials company, Busan will hold a presentation meeting to promote investment in Busan on November 24 at the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel in Kagoshima, Japan.
The meeting will focus on Busan's nine investment projects to promote Busan's optimal location and strengths as an attractive investment destination to participating companies.
