According to Yonhap News,

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) Busan will spend KRW 14.6 billion for the development of the visual entertainment and film industry next year, increasing its budget 66% year over year.

Busan Metropolitan Government announced that the city will accelerate its efforts in 2017 to establish infrastructure for the film industry including construction of the movie industry center while expanding software businesses such as movie planning and development projects.

The movie industry center, slated to open in October next year, is a space for creative works of filmmakers, movie directors, and producers.

Busan will provide KRW 2.4 billion to the film-making support fund to promote movie production in the city.
