According to Yonhap News,
(BUSAN=Yonhap News) The Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) will step up its effort to advance into the global MICE (meetings, incentive tours, convention, and exhibition) market.
BEXCO announced that it will host an exhibition showcasing Korea's products in Zhengzhou, China in March this year following last year's event, which was its first exhibition in China.
The exhibition center will also change the venue for the Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition from Hanoi, Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City to increase size of the event.
At the same time, BEXCO aims to grow exhibitions and international events held in Busan both quantitatively and qualitatively.
This June, RailLog Korea 2017 and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) will be held in BEXCO.
The Korea Rehabilitation & Senior Care Exhibition, which was hosted by BEXCO last year, will be combined and held with other events as 'Health Week' this year.
In September, the Environment &Energy Tech will be held jointly with the Global Green Hub Korea, a large-scale consultation meetings for international buyers organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
Following this month's Drone Show Korea, the '2017 VR/AR KOREA', an exhibition on virtual reality technology, will be hosted in June to help local businesses cope with changes brought about by the fourth industrial revolution.
In addition, a series of large-scale international events including the ITU Telecom World and the Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, will open at BEXCO this year.
