According to Yonhap News,
(BUSAN=Yonhap News) On Aptil 30, the 34th Busan International Short Film Festival (BISFF) ended its six-day schedule.
This year, 161 short films from 43 countries were screened at the annual festival.
A total of 450 filmmakers (345 form Korea, 105 from abroad) participated in various events, including 29 meetups with the audience.
The screenings were attended by a total audience of 8,941, a significant increase from last year's 7,166.
In the official competition, the festival's main event, the awards went to "Not Yet" by Iranian director Arian Vazirdaftari, and "May Father's Room," a Korean animation by director Jang Nari.
Under the theme "Up Close," the 34th Busan International Short Film Festival took place from April 25 to 30 at the Busan Cinema Theater and various other venues across the city.
