On June 18, Busan City announced it will host the 2018 Busan Metropolitan Area Job Fair on June 22.
The job fair aims to resolve the labor shortage of copanies and provide job-seekers with tangible employment opportunities and information. The fair will also operate special employment halls for top recruitment companies, Busan companies and environment-related companies to hold on-site job interviews.
The job fair will host 175 SMEs and public institutions including Korea Southern Power Co., Korea Securities Depository, Korea Youth Counselling & Welfare Institute, Busan Transportation Corporation, Busan Infrastructure Corporation, Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation, Air Busan, Bank of Busan, Ministry of Environment and more.
The participating public and private bodies are expected to create a synergy effect in recruitment and employment at the fair.
Not only will the fair have recruitment halls, it will also feature a company information hall, employment consulting hall and a promotional hall to provide participating company information, psychological counselling services, job consultations, resume and interview consulting, occupational psychology tests, VR and AI interviews, introduction of new jobs, photo service for resumes, makeup and image consulting, business attire rentals and more.
Job-seekers can visit www.busanjob.net for information about the participating firms as wells as for job postings. Those who apply in advance will receive a text message with which they can enter the job fair right away.
Early applicants with a job interview at the fair will be eligible to be selected for a one-stop interview preparation service including free makeup, image making and attire rental. Job seekers can enter the draw on the day of the event with their IDs.
