According to Yonhap News,

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) Lotte Mart opened a store in Vietnam just for products made by Korean SMEs and plan to support SMEs looking to enter the Vietnamese market.

On July 6, Lotte Mart teamed up with the Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center and Busan City to open Be GOODS by Busan in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where Lotte will be selling products made by Busan's SMEs.

The store will sell about 70 different products made by 13 outstanding SMEs in Busan, including fruit and vegetable drinks, fish cakes, pans, anti-hair loss shampoo and more.

The items were selected by Lotte's MDs and local buyers in Vietnam based on their price competitiveness, market suitability and product quality.

Lotte Mart plans to promote the products through on and offline marketing. Moreover, it plans to select additional products for the store.

The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center will support the local operations and expenses.

Last October, Lotte Mart opened a BE GOODS store in South Saigon, which features products of Korean SMEs.

The store featured 196 products from 23 Korean SMEs and achieved KRW 240 million in sales in the last 7 months.
