According to Yonhap News,

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) Busan city announced on January 22 that it will run a Be Starting a Market project, funded by KRW 185 million national budget, to support fashion makers wishing to create a fashion-related enterprise.

This project, linked with crowdfunding, is to support the creation of fashion enterprises by those making fashion-related items.

After experts' examination, twenty teams in total - eight junior teams (less than seven years since establishment) and twelve rookie teams (university students, new upcoming designers) - will be selected.

The selected teams will be supported in the form of crowdfunding consulting, subsidy for prototype production cost (KRW 3 to 5 million), and online/offline marketing activities.

If selected as an outstanding project, there will be additional benefit of two days-stay in Singapore's flea market.

The application shall be submitted on https://www.onoffmix.com/event/164686, the website of Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, by January 29.
