(BUSAN=Yonhap News) Korea Exchange (KRX) announced on February 5 that Futures Industry Association(FIA)'s Forum will be held in Busan.

FIA Forum, scheduled for May 15 in Haeundae, Busan, is expected to be attended by about 150 international organizations including Derivatives markets, clearing organizations, and IT vendors.

KRX will also hold the 4th Derivatives Market Advisory Committee during the same period.

In addition, KRX-KOSDA Autumn Derivatives Forum is scheduled for November in Busan.

With the 7th APDA (Asia-Pacific Association of Derivatives) Conference also planned for July, KRX is determined to actively invite international conferences of securities and derivatives in Busan.

A KRX official said "we will contribute to promoting Busan as a financial center by hosting various international events".
