Busan city holds an award ceremony for startups chosen as "Ace Stellar Companies" at Centum Tech-startup Accelerating Program (CENTAP) on June 20.
The city has selected startups of 3-7 years with core technologies and potential for R&D and growth, and provided them with support needed to advance into global enterprises.
It selected 15 companies as Ace Stellar companies this year.
For example, Iotplex develops products for preventing missing children and the elderly living alone by utilizing GPS.
Venditz develops mobile-based cargo transportation platform, and succeeded in attracting KRW 1.5 billion investment.
The city plans to support up to KRW 30 million fund for each company, which can be used for R&D investment, quality and test certification, facilities usage, marketing, and strategy consulting.
