Busan Support Center for Tourism Companies to host 45 startups

According to Yonhap News,

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) 45 companies have been selected to have a place at Busan Support Center for Tourism Companies.

On August 13, Busan City and Korea Tourism Organization announced that they selected 33 tourism startups, 9 tourism venture companies, 2 convergence startups and 1 star company as tenants.

Yanolja, ES Solution, Coswen Contents, and other various tourism companies started business in Busan are included.

Tenants can use rooms for one person, two persons and four-six persons for free.

They will also have opportunities to participate in various support programs including management consulting.

12 outstanding tourism startups and 9 outstanding tourism companies can receive support funding for commercialization.

The Center will be located in Seaside Complex, Bongraenaroo-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan. Busan City attracted the Center by winning public competition offered by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to expand support system for tourism companies, which used to be concentrated in the capital area and to enhance the capacity of local tourism industry.
