According to Yonhap News,
It is likely that the construction process to build up additional facilities for tourism and entertainment of urban landmark in Busan, Haeundae LCT is coming to an end. LCT PFV and Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC), responsible for the project released the overall construction schedule adding to the completion of the tourists spot. The two institutions in charge also agreed to finish the first phase of the project, covering parking lot, parks nearby and business site.
This project clarifies the guideline for urban development that says over 9% of the entire territory must be filled with a specially designed place for tourist attraction and entertainment. This is part of the city plan to turn Haeundae into a hot spot where everyone can enjoy all year round.
Once the facilities are all established, LCT embraces a luxurious hotel, an ocean garden, a sky observatory, a theme park, a medical hot spring, a theater museum, a fossil hall and an art gallery. LCT says “We’ve already completed 70% of the construction process and don’t think it’s a big deal to catch up the rest.”
