The mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, Oh Keo-Don and prime minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a bilateral meeting to seek ways to make both regions prosperous.
The city mayor opened a banquet on Nov. 24 in honor of the prime minister who made an official visit to Busan to celebrate the grand opening of 2019 ROK- ASEAN Summit meeting. Another reception party hosted by the city invited a group of 20 senior level officials and 70 other delegates from Vietnam.
Delivering welcome remarks, mayor Oh said “It is Busan who sends, and wants to send the largest number of businesses in Vietnam. Need your full support for mutual growth both in Busan and Vietnam.
Expressing appreciation to all the guests invited, the prime minister, Nguyen Xuan Phuc conferred a medal on the honorary consul general at Vietnam, Park Soo-Kwan and said “We’re now preparing for the 30th anniversary celebrating the establishment of diplomatic relations between ROK and Vietnam. Korea and Vietnam have long been good partners in business investment and tourism industry. Hope that both can make a win-win story for mutual development.”
