According to Yonhap News,
Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (BCCEI)’s project to help promising local SMEs form global market networks starts to kick in. A couple of programs designed to promote entrepreneurship found 20 startups to be supported, said BCCEI on Jan. 7.
The candidates have joined dozens of investment promotion activities so far such as global startup pitching contests, conference and biz-consulting sessions with specialists.
Some of the startups who’ve been part of the BCCEI’s program associated with investor relations (IR) successfully attracted investment over KRW 12.3 billion. Anyone who wish to join the service to explore overseas markets can sign up for BCCEI’s program from March.
