According to Yonhap News,

Having a few months left to open a non-stop Busan- Helsinki flight route in March this year, the city of Busan kicked off a marketing campaign letting people in the Nordic countries learn more of the city.

Putting up a special Korea Pavilion at the MATKA 2020 Nordic Fair, the city and Busan Tourism Organization run an advertisement campaign from Jan. 16-19 to introduce tourist attractions and content of the city, while having a biz-consulting session for potential visitors.

Ahead of the event, they host a briefing session named ‘Korea Night’ on Jan. 14 in the city of Helsinki, letting guests at the fair learn more of Korea. With 80 more local invitees, participants discuss how to well brand the city and watch short video clip showing the beauty of the city.

In addition to the programs, the organizing body is also planning on a famtour, as part of marketing activities to welcome the Nordic visitors to Busan.
