BCCE to run a ‘B- STARTUP’ program

According to Yonhap News,

Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced on Jan. 30 that anyone who wants to become the candidates to benefit from a program, so called ‘B Startup Young Talents’, which connects between local venture capital startups and capable young talents, can sign up till Feb. 12.

Applicants are required to run startups or local venture capital firms whose history is younger than five years. Those involved in high technologies such as the Internet of Things, augmented reality, virtual reality, fintech, mobile app service, ICT platform and smart devices are particularly preferred. The city is reported to select roughly 20 candidates or so.

If those nominated as selectees hire young adults living in Busan can be given monthly per capita cash grants worth KRW 1.62 million, a KRW 250,000 contribution every month for each business to promote local employment.
