The city of Busan announced on May 20 the opening of the 9th Busan Mice Festival held in Bexco, Haeundae starting from May 22, as part of efforts to jumpstart local MICE industry, squeezed by the COVID-19 shock which has swept through the community. This is the first official event set to be hosted by the city government since the outbreak of the deadly infectious disease has taken a serious toll.

The event is co-hosted by Busan Tourism Organization, Bexco, Busan Economic Promition Agency and Busan Tourism & Mice Industry Promotion Agency.
Under the theme of “MICE 4.0, We Do + in Busan”, the latest technologies and cross-sectoral trends will be presented at the showcase.

Starting from a discussion with panels looking for ways to develop the industry, vision declaration ceremony by Busan Tourism & Mice Industry Promotion Agency, a kick off ceremony in celebration of the inauguration of an Association of Busan convention industry, followed by MICE leaders’ forum and meeting technology brand presentation session come one after another.
