Busan city to provide funds up to KRW 50 mln for local smart- ICT businesses

According to Yonhap News,


The city of Busan and Busan Technopark announced on May 29 that both will team up to push for a new biz-support program, which mainly aims to develop smart- ICT business based in the Busan National Innovation Convergence Complex.

Potential candidates to benefit from the project are those who reside in or within 10km from the complex. ICT startups or SMEs planning to start business or move into the complex are also available.

Anyone interested can apply until Jun. 12.
The project, designed to develop local innovation hubs, driven by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) under a mission to bind each clusters nationwide, foster locally specialized business (smart-ICT related) and to form an innovative ecosystem. It consists of two large parts, preliminary planning and biz- support programs.
