BEPA to look for a breakthrough in the MICE industry amid the battle against COVID-19
Busan Economic Promotion Agency (BEPA) said on Oct 7 the launch of a biz-support program, promoting non-contact engagement in local MICE (an acronym which stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) industry hit hard by the ongoing coronavirus-induced economic shock.
The program is pushed ahead with the purpose of promoting the digitization of related companies and strengthening non-face-to-face capabilities.
BEPA covers up to 5 million won will be supported for rental fees and public relations expenses for those running a virtual exhibition, webinar or one-person live show. It also offered a prize of 9.2 million won in an open contest to pick the best idea of contact- free formation or content to steer the business in a new direction.
Anyone interested in the contest can visit BEPA’s official website and sign up until Nov 6.
