Busan city signed a KRW 19.2 bln worth of investment deal with 6 biz
The city of Busan hosted an Investor Relations (IR) briefing session for 20 local hidden champions on Oct 3 in Seoul City.
The program of the session included the MOU signing ceremony between the city government and six enterprises, introduction of investment cases, pitching investment climate of Busan city to potential investors, accompanied by Q&A session.
The signees are reported to be five companies headquartered near Seoul city, providing knowledge services –Korea Firstec, GIS21, Innotium, Adpnet, HNS Communication- and Busan based manufacturer DAELIP.
These city’s counterparts are corporates with the official title of ‘Innobiz’, a compound word joining “Innovation” together with “Business”, which stands for small enterprises showing powerful competitive advantage technologically. The amount of investments in Busan city totals KRW 19.2 billion, adding 105 new jobs locally.
In celebration of the event, the Acting Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City said “The city’s attractive living conditions and a wealth of human resources makes it the best possible investment destination particularly for HR and tech intensive knowledge services. With plenty of customized incentives, Busan city will further fuel up our efforts to promote investment into the city.”
