BUSAN < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The city of Busan and South Gyeongsang Province co-hosted an event, helping roughly 50 Korean enterprises based in or operating business within the East Asian cultural sphere deliver an investment pith to potential VC or investors on Mar 30 in the city of Shanghai. Given the lingering COVID-19 affects, Busan and Gyeongnam Trade Offices in Shanghai have jointly hosted the IR event.

Major corporate groups in China such as China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), Shanghai Electric Group Co.,Ltd and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co.,Ltd have also taken part not only in investor pitch sessions but in K-pop concerts and PRing events letting the attendees learn more on local tourist attractions.

Busan city and South Gyeongsang Province showcased a community-based development model, named ‘Southeastern Mega City’, a pilot project that aims to forge an integrated form of economic and administrative bloc encompassing the city of Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province, while unveiling the city-led projects, North Port redevelopment plan and Busan Eco Deltan City as a testing ground for Korea’s first smart city project. Both have also given investor pitch presentation introducing foreign investment zones across Korea and incentive package provided for foreign investors.
