According to Yonhap News,
Busan Metropolitan city said on August 8 that five international conferences are scheduled for 2nd half of this year in Haeundae International Conference Complex.
The conferences scheduled are the 128th General Meeting of the Korean Chemical Society, KoreAnesthesia 2021 by the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Symposium on Fish Nutrition and Feeding (ISFNF) 2020, 2021 Annual Meeting of Korean Society for Stem Cell Research, and Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania (FIMSA) 2021 8th FIMSA Congress.
The city will provide up to KRW 20 million support for each international conference.
A city official said, "Busan has a number of sights including Nurimaru APEC House, which can be utilized for MICE," adding "we will actively promote unique advantages of each facility to induce revisit to Busan by conference participants."
