According to Yonhap News,

The city of Busan announced on September 9 that it would call for participation of companies in 'Global E-commerce Startup Support Project'.

Since last year, the city has signed MOU with related organizations such as the Busan Office of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Busan Institute for Talent & Lifelong Education, and has been jointly promoting a project to foster global sellers and support overseas market marketing for start-ups.

Through this project, 35 'global sellers' have been nurtured and 11 startups have been participating in the project since last March.

This year, the project will be expanded into supporting non-face-to-face overseas market development for start-ups in order to actively respond to the online and digital market environment, changed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This project will be divided into 'Support for Global e-commerce platform commissioned sales' and 'On-site consulting support for startups operating Global e-commerce platform'.

Companies want to to participate can make application through the Busan Startup Portal (busanstartup.kr) by September 12.
