KORMARINE 2021 to kick off on Oct. 19...showing advanced shipbuilding, plant industries

2021 International MArine, Shipbuilding, Offshore, Oil & Gas Exhibition (KORMARINE 2021), showing the advanced equipment and new technologies of international and domestic shipbuilding and offshore plant industries will be held at BEXCO, Haeundae-gu, Busan on October 19-22.

This year marks the 11th KORMARINE event, which has been jointly organized by Busan Metropolitan City, the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Energy (MOTIE), Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA), and Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Association (KOSHIPA) every two years since 2001.

This year, it will be participated by about 700 companies from 30 countries.

Major domestic companies including Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Korea Gas Corporation, S&SYS, and BIP will be participating, as well as foreign companies such as ABB, Emerson, Kongsber, Wärtsilä, and WinGD.

10 countries including Neterlands, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, UK, and Austria will be setting up a joint pavilion.

During the exhibition period, various events including technical seminar, marine engineering industry technology seminar, and marine engineering conference are scheduled, in addition to display of products, shipbuilding technology, equipment, and marine equipment.

Busan city will also support overseas marketing of participating companies by providing non face-to-face online export consultation.

The non-face-to-face online exhibition will continue by the end of this year on the website of KORMARINE.
