BUSAN < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is going all out to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.

BCCI's Chairman Jang In-hwa said in a press roundtable on January 20 that "as we confirmed favorable views of Korea and potential for the 2030 Busan EXPO during our visit to the Dubai Expo, we will go all out to host the World EXPO in Busan."

The BCCI delegation together with Busan-si delegation visited the Dubai Expo from January 15 to 19, including attending 'Korea National Day' event, and promoted Busan's bid for the 2030 World Expo.

At the roundtable, Chairman Jang said that he would establish a system in which the local business community closely cooperates with Busan-si and the private bid committee by designating the Expo bid as BCCI's focus project and forming a dedicated Task Force (TF).

In addition, he announced that the BCCI will dispatch 'Business Delegation to attract the 2030 World Expo' consists of Busan business people to major target areas.
