According to Yonhap News,

Busan Tourism Organization (BTO) will start attracting domestic and foreign tourists in earnest in the second half of this year with the relaxation of the regulations related to COVID-19 quarantine and airline expansion.

The BTO held a business plan briefing session for the second half of the year at the Busan Tourism Support Center on July 7.

The BTO explained that it plans to conduct promotion activities for airlines, support incentives to travel agencies, and support overseas marketing for tourism companies in order to rebuild the inbound (foreign tourists travelling Korea) and restore the Busan tourism ecosystem.

It will also revitalize business visitors by newly selecting a unique meeting space (Unique Venue) that utilizes Busan's outstanding natural landscape.

In line with the endemic, it will also work towards inviting European shipping companies for Fam Tour and developing cruise tour courses to revitalize the cruise tourism.

To revitalize nighttime tourism, it will also discover hidden nighttime spots in Busan and turn them into tourism products, while preparing various experience events and programs in Yongdusan Village.
