Metaverse experts around the world will gather in Busan.

On 1st, August, Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency(BIPA) announced the 'Global Metaverse Conference & Republic of Korea(ROK)-ASEAN Forum 2022' will be held in BEXCO, Busan from 18th to 19th of this month.

Hosted by Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City, and organized by National IT Industry Promotion Agency and BIPA, the event will promote exchange of knowledge in Metaverse industry around the ASEAN region and Korea.

Under the subject of 'Metaverse, the Beginning of New Worlds', presentation on Metaverse industry will be held , and the participants will discuss how ASEAN region and Korea can cooperate to promote Metaverse industry.

The ROK-ASEAN Forum, which will be held in 19th, Aug, will have 2 tracks.

In the 1st track, Thomaz Bednarz, strategic researcher engagement director of NVIDIA, the global leading company in AI computing, will have a keynote speech under the subject of 'Software Omniverse : Digital Twin' and present the importance of software in developing Metaverse.

Lee Seunghwan, metaverse team leader of Software Policy & Research Institute, will have a keynote speech under the topic of 'How will the Metaverse Change Our Live' in the 2nd track.

Registration is for free through the website(busanmetaverseeng.moddo.at) until 11th, Aug.
