Busan-si is to ink an investment MoU for the establishment of a shipbuilding and marine research center with AVEVA at the city hall on Sept. 20.

The ceremony will be joined by Casper Herzberg, COO of AVEVA; Choi Go-woon, COO and CRP of AVEVA; Oh Jae-jin, CEO of AVEVA Korea; and other five executives.

AVEVA specializes in shipbuilding, offshore and industrial software solution, which now takes lead in the digital transition and sustainable innovation. The agreement will help AVEVA to open the 'AVEVA Marine Center of Excellence' in Busan by year-end.

CEO Hertzberg noted," AVEVA has grown together with Korean global leaders in shipbuilding and offshore sectors. Therefore, Korean market is of significant importance for us."
