According to Yonhap News,

Busan National Science Museum unveiled that the joint special exhibition '2050 carbon Zero City' will be held from Dec. 20 to Mar. 5, 2023.

The '2050 Carbon-zero city' aims to raise awareness of the situation in which the entire planet is under threat due to increased CO2 emission.

The exhibition focuses on various causes of climate change, along with global warming-induced rising sea levels, extreme weather conditions, embattled endangered species, and more.

After a field trip to a virtual international conference hall, participants can experience capturing and storing carbon, be part of the bike racing competition, and make a greenhouse gas molecular model.

In addition, you can also experience zero-energy houses, energy harvesting (a way of converting deserted energy into electricity), eco-friendly mobility, eco-friendly town, or interactive sketch wall.

The Busan National Science Museum, Daegu National Science Museum, and Gwangju National Science Museum co-host the exhibition, which will be run on a tour.

Meanwhile, Gimcheon Science Museum, Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM), Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KIRICR), LS ELECTRIC, and other institutions also cooperated with the exhibition.
