KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) announced on May 10 that CCEI (Center for Creative Economy and Innovation) and BCCEI (Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation) will jointly recruit participants of 2023 Startup TechBlaze.

2023 Startup TechBlaze was organized with an aim of identifying and developing promising startups who will lead innovative growth and new business models based on KAMCO's public data.

Topics of the competition are business ideas that are based on deep tech, new industries, or KAMCO's public data, and digitalization proposals related to KAMCO's major projects.

Would-be entrepreneurs or startup founders whose businesses are younger than 7 years are qualified to apply for the competition.

Of all participants, after going through KAMCO's preliminary examination, 10 will make the short list. Then, business consulting programs and mentoring will be provided before winners are selected. The amounts of the prize money are KRW 10 million for those who come first, KRW 4 million for the second, and KRW 2 million for the third.
