A drone industry hub center will be built in Busan to support research, demonstration, and repair to facilitate the development of drones (unmanned aerial vehicle).
The Busan Metropolitan Government announced on October 9 that it will push for the construction of a drone industry hub center with four floors above ground (total area of 1,811.9㎡) in Jisa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan.
It expects to commence construction as early as this month and complete it in December next year by investing about KRW 23.8 billion, with an aim to start operation in earnest from 2025.
The drone industry hub center will have equipment and infrastructure to support drone-related training, R&D, demonstration and repair.
