On December 4, the Busan Metropolitan Government announced that its deputy mayor will visit China to develop the market and engage in cultural exchange activities in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the signing of a friendly cooperative city with Beijing and the 30th anniversary of a sisterhood relationship with Shanghai.

Deputy Mayor Lee will meet with high-level officials in Beijing on December 5 to discuss ways to facilitate exchanges between the two cities and hold an IR briefing session for Chinese companies and related organizations.

On the following day, he will travel to Shanghai to meet with the vice mayor of Shanghai and discuss ways to strengthen economic and cultural cooperation building on the sisterhood agreement signed in 1993.

Deputy Mayor will visit the Busan Hall at the 'Marintec China 2023 in Shanghai' to encourage Busan-based companies participating in the exhibition and seek ways to develop new sales channels in the shipbuilding market.

On December 7, Busan-si will hold an IR briefing session in Shanghai for about 70 Chinese companies, including Chinese listed companies.

Deputy mayor said, "when it comes to exchanges with China, we will focus on practical economic cooperation, such as attracting Chinese capital and businesses".
