On June 14, Busan-si announced that it signed an MOU to revitalize the high-tech based composite material industry with four organizations on the previous day.

The signatories to the MOU are JEC, Busan Techno Park, Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency and Korea Carbon Nano Industry Association, which are non-profit organizations fostering the composite material application sectors.

The signatories promised to establish an organic cooperative system to lay the foundation for the growth of Busan's future new industries and advance Busan's major industries, and create the ecosystem for the composite material industry.
