Busan Regional SMEs and Startups office and 8 Busan-based financial institutions and Hana Bank agreed to join forces in supporting overseas expansion of SMEs in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions.
On July 3, Busan Regional SMEs and Startups office and others signed an MOU to support exports of SMEs through private, public, and governmental cooperation, establishing an organic cooperation system to push for the 'Middle East Export 25°K-Silk Road Development Project'.
In addition to the Busan Regional SMEs and Startups office, Hana Bank, the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO), the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO), Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), Korea Southern Power Co.(KOSPO), Korea Housing -Finance Corporation and Busan Finance Center participated in the MOU.
They agreed to actively cooperate in: supporting provision of export finance for hidden champions; supporting export expansion by conducting such activities as dispatching market development delegation and holding business meetings by inviting buyers; and supporting capacity building in export-related seminars and PR materials production.
