According to Yonhap News,

On April 15, Busan-si will sign investment memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with four companies, including biotech firms, at the Busan City Hall.

The signing ceremony will be attended by the mayor of Busan, CEO of BMT, CEO of Drive Force, and Vice President of Simple Planet, who will sign the MOUs.

BMT has decided to establish a second factory near its headquarters in the new materials industrial complex in Gijang-gun due to the growing adoption of eco-friendly ships driven by the global tightening of environmental regulations.

Drive Force, a rapidly growing company in the eco-friendly ship system sector, will invest KRW 16.3 billion in the Southeast Area Radiation Medicine & Science Industrial Complex in Gijang-gun and hire 43 new employees.

Simple Planet, a bio-food tech company, will relocate its headquarters to Busan.

Fireball, a manufacturer of automotive cleaning products, will also sign an MOU to relocate its headquarters to the Ori Industrial Complex in Gijang-gun.

Busan-si expects that this investment agreement will strengthen the local industrial foundation.
