Busan-si to identify promising companies using an analysis system based on AI and big data
On May 15, Busan-si will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) to utilize an AI and big data-based corporate analysis system.
The goal of this agreement is to share policy tools and establish a collaborative framework to support the identification and growth of promising local businesses.
The corporate analysis system integrates the KODIT’s accumulated company database and credit evaluation methods with AI and big data technologies. This system will enable tasks such as accessing information on 1.4 million companies, performing customized condition searches, calculating data-driven company ratings, and providing comprehensive company statistics based on the latest company data.
With this MOU, Busan-si plans to actively use the system in formulating strategies for nurturing promising businesses, ensuring objectivity in selecting companies for policy support, and analyzing the effectiveness of its business support policies.
Busan-si stated that it will continue to expand data-driven governance by collaborating with various public organizations and institutions specialized in data.
