Busan-si to invite buyers from the Greater China region
On September 23, Busan-si and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency (BEPA) announced that they will host the “2025 Medical Tourism Buyer Meeting for the Greater China Region” on September 24th at the Park Hyatt Busan in Haeundae District.
The event will bring together 15 buyers from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong and 27 medical institutions from Busan, conducting around 120 one-on-one business consultations across various medical fields such as plastic surgery, dermatology, health check-ups, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
In addition, the buyers will participate in a familiarization (fam) tour, where they will experience local medical services firsthand and visit Busan’s wellness tourism destinations.
According to last year’s data, Chinese patients accounted for 22.3% of all foreign patients visiting South Korea.
